SIX PEOPLE escaped injury on Military West and Southampton Drive on Tuesday when a large tree fell, damaging a Chevrolet pickup truck (below), occupied by a 59-year-old Vallejo man, and a Honda Civic, occupied by an 18-year-old Vallejo driver accompanied by four other youths, Sgt. Frank Hartig of the Benicia Police Department said. The truck suffered heavy damage but was driveable.
