Deo Boongaling had 14 kills and six digs as the St. Patrick-St. Vincent High boys varsity volleyball team beat visiting El Cerrito on Thursday, 25-20, 25-22, 28-26.

Dominic Nicolas had 18 assists and four digs for the Bruins, who improved to 14-7 overall and 9-0 in the Tri-County Athletic League. John Cuevas had eight digs, Alex Olmes added three kills and four digs, Max King had five kills and Ryan Villaseran added four kills.

“They didn’t make very many errors and they did a good job of keeping the ball in play, but we still made less errors than they did and we were able to have timely kills,” Cuevas said.

The Bruins play at Pinole Valley on Tuesday.
