Deo Boongaling had eight kills and teammate Dominic Nicolas added 12 assists and three aces as the St. Patrick-St. Vincent High boys varsity volleyball team swept host De Anza on Tuesday, 25-13, 25-9, 25-12.

Ryan Villaseran had six kills for the Bruins, who improved to 12-7 overall and 7-0 in the Tri-County Athletic League. Max King added five kills, freshman Ryan Manuel had seven assists, Anthony Olmes had five assists and Patrick Basco chipped in with three aces.

The Bruins needed to make only 14 digs against De Anza (2-6 TCAL).

“We had a quicker offense and didn’t make very many errors,” said SPSV senior John Cuevas. “Our serving really controlled the game.”
