It should a gem of a time and pretty rocking too in Vallejo this weekend.
On Feb. 24 and 25, the Vallejo Gem & Mineral Society is putting on its annual Spring Bling at the Solano County Fairgrounds.
At the event will be games such Wheel of Fortune and Geode Cracking. Also at the “Spring Bling” are grab bags and demonstrations. Hourly drawings and a silent auction will take place too.
The Fairgrounds are located at 900 Fairgrounds Drive. Ticket prices for the show are $5 for adults and free for children under the age of 12. A dollar will be taken off tickets for those with information cards and an announcement post which can be accessed at http://vjgems.co/category/showsevents/. Those with receipts or hand stamps from the Saturday show can attend the Sunday show for free. There will be free parking as well.
“Mark your calendars,” the Society said on its website. “We’ll be holding drawings, a silent auction, a kids corner and lots more! It’s a bunch of fun.”
