Solano agency offers child care referrals

August 16, 2015 by Donna Beth Weilenman Leave a Comment

Solano Family and Children’s Services is offering a free list of licensed family child care and child care centers in Solano County, Kathy Lago, resource and referral manager, said.

Lago’s organization is providing the information to coincide with the start of the new school year.

“Solano Family and Children’s Services promotes and advocates for the well-being of children, their families and child care providers by offering access to a variety of child-care resources,” Lago said.

“With the new school year beginning, families may be in search of a child care program that meets their children’s needs before and after school.”

She said parents also may be looking for part-day preschool programs as well as full-day care for infants through school age, a search her agency can assist.

Those needing child care in any of Solano County’s seven cities may call Solano Family and Children’s Services at 707-863-3950, ext. 709. They also may visit www.solanofamily.org to complete a free referral request form, Lago said.

The agency also can be found on Facebook at www.facebook.com/solanofamily. Those interested in more information may email the agency at info@solanofamily.org.
