The lilies of the valley, burst from fields of emerald green
Oh May; unleash the beauty, of the Earth so it be seen
_
The sweaters to the closet, and the seeds are in the ground
The babble of the brooks and bees, in sync, sing out their sound
_
The young ones seek each other out, and love is in the air
Skipping stones, share time alone, live life without a care
_
Warmer days around the bend, will bake our bodies brown
And side by side, two people ride, to have some fun in town
_
May will give us days of play, and leave us much too soon
And then give way, to Old Saul’s rays, as Earth turns into June
