They came from the past in singles and pairs.
Each brought their lives, and curious stares.
Some traveled far over land and sea,
Each curious to see what had come to be.
Some had stayed so close to home,
Others, by choice or chance, did roam.
Now all brought together one more time,
Some playing a part like an actor of mime.
Young girls, now grown old past age,
Preserved with paste to hide life’s stage.
Young boys, once strong and quick of feet,
Now ready to rest their load at their seat.
Once they breathed hard in the back of a car.
Now old boys brag as they stand at the bar.
Songs of old are caught by the ear,
Bringing back for awhile times all can hear.
Photos are shown of those who will form a new union,
As parents and friends meet at the class reunion.
