Poetry Corner: Bud Light “To Grasp the Moment”

August 25, 2017 by Bud Light Leave a Comment

Time is everything
It never dies–
It never lived-
Its solo hero
Is eternity.
It is limitless.
A silent pool, collecting
Drop after drop.
It is unendingness.
It never seems
To have begun.
BUT FOR ME TIME IS NOW.
To those who stop
To peer at galaxies
Their limits
Beyond the scope of all our dreams—
To those who seek
To conquer space
The farthest suns beyond our hope
The nearest
Almost.. .to the touch—-
To those who look to times past, and future
Unknown to us
As we, perhaps,
Remain unknownwto one another—
To those who seek the answers
To questions
Yet unasked
And always will
Look hard. Time stands not still,
ALL THAT MATTERS IS HERE.
AND NOW. AND YOU.
