Photo: Semple celebrates kindness

November 10, 2017 by Editor Leave a Comment

Robert Semple Elementary students and staff donned orange Thursday morning and surprised parents with a choreographed dance flash mob in recognition of Kindness Month. The dance was taught to students by a representative from the company Dance For Kindness as Semple was celebrating Spirit Week. At 8:30 a.m. yesterday, students lined up on the blacktop and froze in place as Noelle’s “Give Love Away” played. Then the students danced to Charles Preston’s “Revolution of Love.” Dance for Kindness will be hosting a worldwide flash mob on Sunday, which will be performed in several regions throughout the globe, including at AT&T Park in San Francisco. World Kindness Day is Monday, Nov. 13. For more information, go to danceforkindness.com. (Photo by Nick Sestanovich)
