The sidewalk along First Street between East I and J streets is currently closed as One House Bakery does some excavations on the front sidewalk. The forthcoming upscale bake shop at the former location of Benicia Antique Mall has seen a wave of construction developments in the past week, including a new kitchen floor, a large awning, indoor lighting fixtures and a cream-colored exterior coat of paint.
