Photo: Awning of a new era

April 19, 2018 by Editor Leave a Comment

Progress on the construction of Bella Siena, the new restaurant and bar in the Tannery Building, is moving along quickly. The eatery, which promises to serve a mix of Italian and American cuisine, will have a new awning made out of corrogated metal, a bar and lounge, and a courtyard patio with fire pit seating. Bella Sienna will be the first restaurant in the space since the respective closure and relocation of Shoreline and Mike & Gayle’s in 2009. Owner Elizabeth Kurt said construction is nearing completion and hopes to have the restaurant open by mid-May. (Photo by Nick Sestanovich)
