Letters: Stop mailing utility reports

November 22, 2016 by Editor

Stop mailing reports

To Pacific Gas & Electric and Benicia Water Department,
Why are you wasting paper, printing, postage and employees’ time with those childish reports regarding the amount of utilities used? And I don’t think that the reports make people change their habits.
Smiley faces? Get real. The bills are mailed to adults, not children.
I believe, in part, that the cost of our bills have increased due to these notices being sent. Supplies, postage and employee time are not free.
Get rid of these reports, and think of ways to save money.

Claudia Gardner,
Benicia
