Letter: Thank a retired teacher

October 31, 2017 by Editor Leave a Comment

Thank a retired teacher!

The first week of November has been designated to honor
retired teachers. Each teacher impacted hundreds of lives during his or her teaching career. Think about who helped you learn to read this, to balance your checkbook, to learn from history, to appreciate the contributions of others and to write your own story. Retired teachers continue to impact their communities daily as they volunteer. They tutor, they
staff animal shelters, they volunteer at libraries and hospitals and schools…Teachers never stop giving of their time and from their hearts.
Thank one today!

Kathleen Stats;
CalRTA, Division 24, Retired Teachers of Solano County
