Letter: Kudos to Solano College

February 25, 2018 by Editor Leave a Comment

Kudos to Solano College

I would like to publicly thank Solano Community College’s softball team for allowing me to throw out the ceremonial pitch, Thursday Feb. 1. Thankfully, no one was hurt in this effort.
Receiving a Solano College shirt, the softball I used and flowers was such a surprise. Thank you, Athletic Director Erik Vessar. Good job in “ordering” a beautiful day to be outdoors and play ball.
To the public: come out and see a game. The new bleachers are wonderful. The last of the trifecta was winning both games of the doubleheader by the Lady Falcons.
I enjoyed my day. Thank you!

Monica Brown; Solano County Supervisor, District 2
