I’M NO NORMAN VINCENT PEALE
But I still write my daily spiel
So I can tell folks how I feel
As they consume their morning meal
Observations that I see
Are couched in simple poetry
They’re meant for you, they’re sent from me
When it’s all said, at least they’re free!
Sometimes funny always true
I write things down, that’s what I do
To cheer folks up when they get blue
A daily gift from me to you
So I’ll keep setting into motion
Rhythmic, rhyming, reading potions
Laced with humor and emotion
You can count on my devotion
