It’s ringing in my ears!
People have been telling me
To act my age for years

My Mother and my Father
And my coaches and my teachers
My girlfriends and bartenders
And my workmates and my preachers

As I’ve gotten older
My condition seems to worsen
I still don’t see what’s wrong with acting
Like a younger person
