I have a friend that I admire
His given name is Yuji
His place of birth’s an island land
It’s where you’ll find Mount Fuji
We both share a love for art
He studied it in school
De Young displays old Yuji’s work
I think that’s very cool
His etchings are a sight to see
He also paints and draws
Most folks look but Yuji sees
The beauty and the flaws
In Japan they have an art
They’ve done since days of old
They get a piece of paper
And then they begin to fold
Yuji takes a woody sheet
And like a mystic swami
He folds it here and bends it there
Then presto; origami
