DONNA BOUGHT A STATUE-LAMP
It stands between two walls
The thing is made of pewter
And it rises six feet tall
The lamp’s a naked lady
Riding on a dolphin’s back
She’s holding up a lampshade
I’m not kidding; it’s a fact
The shade is made in Tiffany
And on the dolphin’s belly
A matching shade and light reside
12 feet from the edge of our telly
It’s quite a conversation piece
Art Deco’s all the rage
This overwhelming objet d’art
Transcends most any age
I sound like I’m complaining
But believe me I am not
It fits right in with she and me
And all the things we’ve got
