In the place in your head, that connects with your heart
Sometimes something is missing, that tears you apart

If you knew what it was, you could try and go get it
Elusive completion! You know it; admit it

A thing you could have, that might set your mind free
But that’s not how it goes, with the ways you could be

You are or you’re not, when you stop and take pause
Although sometimes you think, love might change you because

That the one thing that’s missing, might someday be found
Just by finding another; exploring new ground

Well I want to be honest, and just to be fair
I will give this advice, to the readers that care

Go and search in your soul, and then fix your own issues
And THEN find a soul mate, you’ll save bread on tissues
