IN MY LIFE I’VE TRAVELED
And I’ve lived in many places
I’ve met a lot of people
I can still recall their faces
There was just a handful
Who became long-lasting friends
They meant enough to keep them close
To me right to the end
There is one who changed a lot
Our friendship seemed to worsen
When I called to talk to him
He’s like a different person
I guess he changed as time passed by
And let me go because
He doesn’t care for me today
He liked me like I was
Friendship is a two-way street
I get it, it’s all good
His actions speak great volumes
Not to be misunderstood
