BETWEEN OUR EARS INSIDE OUR HEADS
And right behind our eyes
The gray and convoluted mass
We use to reason lies
We have our brains to work things out
To process sight and smell
And make sense of our memories
And stories that they tell
When times come to apply ourselves
There are no thinking caps
We focus on our problems
And create our mental apps
Dendrite, axons, synapses
Electric arc connections
All working automatically
Beyond our sense detection
What is the mind? Is it our soul?
Somebody please explain
The wonder of the way it works
This thing we call our brain
