I LAID MY BODY DOWN TO REST
And closed my eyes in bed
Then all at once a crazy dream
Just popped into my head
I dreamt I was an astronaut
Who journeyed into space
I thought perhaps some alien
Might dig the human race
I shot right through a worm-hole
That propelled me to a planet
It sucked my ship into it
And there was no need to man it
I met a brand-new species
And they had a cure for cancer
For every problem back on Earth
These people had an answer
When I returned back home
I tried to share what I had learned
But no one would believe me
My new knowledge all was spurned
I woke and went to see my shrink
He said go back to bed
These dreams in which you save the world
Are only in your head
