SOLANO COUNTY – Wednesday, April 1, Heretic Brewery in Fairfield helped SolTrans out with donating a five gallon jug of their “Germ Juice” Hand Sanitizer.

SolTrans Executive Director Beth Kranda reached out to Heretic Brewery, while a couple of other employees reached out to others. Heretic jumped at the chance to help.

SolTrans drivers and transit workers are essential services and are on the front line. This simple humanitarian effort provides a huge boost to SolTrans in doing everything they can to keep their drivers safe. With a limited route schedule and added safety precautions, the hope is to help curb the spread of COVID-19.

“Our team is so grateful to Heretic Brewery for supplying this much needed hand sanitizer,” said Kranda. “Our drivers and other transit workers are on the front line and their safety and personal welfare is of upmost importance. We are asking everyone that can stay home please do, but if you need transportation we are here to take you to your destination in safety.”
