Danny Elizalde pitched six strong innings and James Terrell had a home run and two RBIs as the St. Patrick-St. Vincent High varsity baseball team beat visiting Bethel on Tuesday, 4-1.

Elizalde scattered four hits in six innings of work and struck out four. Teammate Fred Soto went 1-for-2 with a RBI. Mark Johnson went 2-for-3 for the Jaguars.

The Bruins (2-1) host Albany in a Tri-County Athletic League game on Friday.
