On Oct 14., the Benicia Fire Department were called to assist the Police Department at the Marina. Five minutes later, firefighters helped officers with a body recovery at the fueling docks.
The body recovered was Paul Hyde, a member of the Benicia Yacht Club. His body was left in the custody of the Police Department and later would be transported to the Solano County Coroner’s Office. Law enforcement officials believe no foul play occurred with Hyde.
The Solano County Coroner’s Office confirmed Hyde’s identity.
