City Council to appoint commission members, city manager tonight

The Benicia City Council will consider approval of six members to boards and commissions and the appointment of Lorie Tinfow to city manager, among other items, at the city council meeting tonight, Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m.
Additional agenda items include a second reading and adoption of an ordinance to establish speed limits on city streets, a presentation by Bartel Associates on CalPERS, and a report from the finance director on the 10-year forecast for general fund, water and wastewater.
Please note the early meeting time of 6 p.m. The City Council meets at the Council Chambers in City Hall, located at 250 East L St. Copies of the agenda and supporting documents are available at the city of Benicia website at ci.benicia.ca.us under the heading Government-Agendas or by calling the city manager’s office at 746-4200.
