It appears Vallejo High’s softball team is afraid to play powerful Benicia.

For the second time this season, Vallejo said it wasn’t ready to face the undefeated Lady Panthers and postponed Tuesday’s already rescheduled game for a few more weeks. As a concession, all three games between the two teams this season will take place in Benicia, beginning with a doubleheader April 17.

“I’m getting tired ofrescheduling these games,” said Benicia manager Kristin Grubbs. “We’re playing this next timebecause I’m not rescheduling this again.”
