Benicia High’s boys golf team wrapped up its fourth straight unbeaten Solano County Athletic Conference season with a 198-246 victory over American Canyon at Mare Island last Thursday.

It was the third time this year Benicia has broken 200 and was only five strokes off the team’s best round of the season. The Panthers, winners of 56 straight conference games, improved to 12-0 in the SCAC heading into Tuesday’s SCAC Championships on Tuesday at Rancho Solano.

Zack McClure had a par on every hole and finished with a career-best 35 to earn medalist honors. Evan Cuenco had two birdies en route to a 38, and Nick Flores birdied two holes and shot a 40. Connor Hatfield added a 41 and Dustin Sparks rounded out Benicia’s scorecard with a 44.
