Benicia Biz Beat: Annual ‘Coffee House’ to benefit charity

March 10, 2015 by Donna Beth Weilenman Leave a Comment

BENICIA LUTHERAN CHURCH’S 2015 COFFEE HOUSE, at 7 p.m. March 21 at the church, 201 Raymond Drive, will benefit Foster a Dream, Donna Noska, church secretary, said.

Admission is free, but donations to Foster a Dream will be accepted at the Coffee House event.

Lori Cohee founded Foster A Dream in July 2002 to offer programs and resources to assist Bay Area foster children, including their transition to independent adult life.

The organization is based on investing in and helping foster youth become productive citizens.

The Coffee House event will feature music by the church’s own Praise Team as well as Benicia Fellowship, Crimson Flow, Gospel Melody Tones and Syria T, Noska said.

Those interested may call the Benicia Lutheran Church at 707-746-0201 or email the church office at blcoffice@sbcglobal.net.
