2 injured in shooting on Bayview; police investigating

Benicia police officers were on the scene at Bayview Circle Tuesday night after hearing reports of shots being fired, according to a post on the Benicia Police Department’s Facebook page.

At approximately 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, the Police Department received reports of a shooting in the 1600 block of Bayview Circle. Upon arrival, a man and woman, both 25, were discovered with non-life threatening gunshot wounds at the scene. They were transported to area hospitals for their injuries.
