What’s wrong with you people? Who returns to their high school or grammar school to waste their peers with an assault rifle meant to be an adversarial killing machine in the resource or imperial wars of the US? Who monitors the decaying mental health of social dropouts and makes sure their parents’ weapons vault is locked and not available for peer-shooting to even any or all past schoolyard injustices?
Jesus, Louise people! How many cowardly Congress members are intimidated by the NRA to be minus their cojones? Does the NRA elect our lawmakers or only paralyze their courage into being dysfunctional, but well-paid, useless bureaucrats? Huh? Huh? Huh?
And how dumb are how many state governors and our current criminal president to state that classroom teachers should be armed? Are we really working with all our BEST marbles here or only a suspected few?
Do profits to the cash cow Arms Industry always prevail over schoolyard health and safety? Get bright, America, it was a treat to see the Royal Wedding this past weekend. There was no blatant US stupidity being broadcast from the US for a change. Interracial benevolence even saturated the English airways. The US sucks and is still in its dysfunctional toilet. Where are all the bright people? Are they only the courageous Florida high school survivors that are willing to take on the blatant stupidity and cowardice in our useless leadership? We lost two adult daughters to cancer and Crohn’s Disease, just as traumatic as a wasted shell from an under-regulated assault rifle or unlocked family weapons’ vault.
Get bright, America! What became of benevolent hearts and minds rather than 4th Century subterranean cowardly life forms? These are our Most Dumbest and Tragic Days until corrected.

Can’t disagree with you that Congresscritters are pretty useless as a bunch and as individuals. I’m frankly ashamed to be represented by the folks like Nancy Pilosi and formerly Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein. BUT, we get the government that we elect. If you don’t like them, get rid of them in the next election if you can. Better yet, pass term limits as a US Constitutional Amendment…Better yet, revise the 1st and 2nd amendments–or how about a Constitutional Convention to start over? It is easy to bitch and moan-especially after a tragedy. But, are you interested or invested enough to run for office yourself? I know I’m not. I’d rather bitch and moan from the sidelines since I’m not invested nor interested enough. The news is always dismal and it will get worse. Overcrowding, crime, pollution, scandal…

Wow, aren’t you just a pinnacle of inspirational Zoom. I’d rather fight the bastards. Did you leave a trail of dead cats in your career path or are you still heading upward to aid anyone?

Even Sancho Panza stopped tilting at windmills eventually. With 7 billion people in the world, someone else can waste their angst while I gather my “well earned” rosebuds while I yet may.
Peter Bray says
That’s fine, I’d rather be a part of a solution than a part of the problem. A team prospers by its members, the isolated anything is an isolated anything, Sancho Panza was a secondary character, Don Quixote carried the message, Sancho Panza travelled on a mule. We each make choices. Have a great day.

Yah, but Sancho was the enabler to the crazy Quixote. He was also the narrator – grant him the “belly” of the tale. I look forward to you telling us what you actually DO to stop gun violence, or crappy representation, or whatever cause you choose to throw yourself at–assuming it goes beyond bitching and moaning in a tiny column in a micro newspaper.

And Peter, if you really wanted to be critical of my attitude, you shoulda said that all it takes for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
