He was one of the best dressed men I ever saw; Latest cut lapel, with awe; I checked his suit, a light over plaid, of red with ochre-brown, for fad. He was superb, yet for awhile, I was perplexed. Such style. He wore the best, yet was ill-dressed. Because I never saw him smile.
Poetry Corner: Bud Light “Treadmill”
A rat in a trap; A squirrel in a cage A donkey on a treadmill, turning a milstone; Going nowhere, because There’s nowhere to go They couldn’t go even if there was, because The situation won’t let them. People are very much like that. How sad about that. Too bad for them; It shouldn’t be […]
Poetry Corner: Bud Light “Please Listen”
Listen to the clamor of voices ; heard from poets and writers. Wishing to tell us something; words that come from the heart; Their meaning truly revealing. They ARE telling us something, Of life, love and death; explicit is their meaning; Preparing us for all seasons; And life, love and death.

Poetry Corner: Bud Light “A Loss in the Family”
We arose as a community to your past this morning To honour your memory. We searched through the cooling summer breezes For one glimpse of you and thought Our hearts would surely topple off the edge of some Unseen mountain ledge or sand trail As each flitting shadow Recalled some day gone by When you […]
Poetry Corner: Bud Light “Contemplation”
THERE is many a mile to cover Before my day is done; And many a challenge to cover Till the dawn of each setting sun. Tradition and breeding are buried Beneath the deeds of each day— And the greatness is in the doing Whatever the game we play. Life passes us by all too quickly; […]
