The St. Patrick-St. Vincent High boys varsity volleyball team completed its seventh consecutive undefeated league season with a 25-13, 25-17, 25-17 Senior Night victory over visiting Salesian on Wednesday.
Deo Boongaling had five kills, seven assists and six digs for the Bruins, who improved to 24-9 overall and finished 16-0 in the Tri-County Athletic League. Ryan Villaseran had seven aces, three kills and seven digs, Mark Perez added six kills, and Dominic Nicolas had four kills, 12 assists and five digs.
Other standouts for SPSV included Anthony Nogaliza (three aces, five digs) and Max King (three kills, two digs).
The Bruins have the top seed for the TCAL playoffs, which begin next Tuesday. SPSV hasn’t lost a league match since 2008.
