Growing old is easy
Just keep waking up each day
Drink some coffee, watch TV
Survive another day

Take some pills to cure your ills
Observe the rising prices
Health concerns and unkind turns
Eliminate your vices

No more booze or drugs alas
You have to turn in early
When the young girls pass by you
There’s no more feeling squirrelly
_
Food keeps getting softer and
Your glasses get much thicker
Mood keeps getting crankier
And you are prone to bicker
_
Politics are all that’s left
You turn in to a grump
It isn’t any wonder
Old folks tend to turn to Trump
