(In gratitude to Gil Scott-Heron. The medium has changed, but the message is the same.)
You do not need to keep refreshing your browser because the revolution will not be aggregated.
The revolution will not be limited to 140 characters or less.
The revolution will not be skipped after five seconds.
The revolution will not be lost in the shuffle, sandwiched between pictures of your friend’s nephew’s birthday party and your shirtless friend’s pool party.
The revolution will not be looped after six seconds.
The revolution does not care about what you had for lunch.
You do not need to choose a filter for your revolution.
The revolution will not recommend other revolutions you may like.
The revolution will not take a backseat to Kim Kardashian’s new haircut.
The revolution will not be measured by likes or reposts.
What does the revolution have to say about clickbait? The answer will not shock you.
The revolution will not let you know if it’s going to be 15 minutes late.
The revolution will not be delivered to you in all capital letters.
The revolution will not promote itself on the anniversary of a horrible tragedy.
The revolution is in your hands.
Use it wisely.

Thanks for the poetry: and for me a flashback memory of the great musician –Gil Scott-Heron.
I was fortunate enough to see Gil and his partner-Brian Jackson in person in San Francisco, many years ago.
Below is one of my favorite songs/video i.e. poetry..”.Work for Peace” by Mr. Heron.
