On Wednesday, May 31, the Solano County Office of Education presented Benicia High School with a Gold Ribbon Award, which honors schools throughout the state for exemplary programs. Since BHS was being honored for its visual and performing arts program, several art-related activities were available throughout campus. Below are just a few.

Songs on the BHS Panther Band’s setlist included Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk,” Nena’s “99 Luftballons,” Chicago’s “Make Me Smile” and The Offspring’s “The Kids Aren’t Alright.”
