Benicia High School PTSA President Pat Jennings (Left) and BHS Principal Brianna Kleinschmidt cut the ribbon to introduce the school's renovated N-2 room at last Thursday's Open House. In recent years, the room had primarily been used for occasional club and sports meetings. The new room will provide an alternative learning environment as well as space for guest speakers student presentations, student-produced film screenings and club events. Renovation began in September, and the newly remodeled room features a new projector, a wall-mounted screen, furnishings, student devices and charging stations. PTSA sponsored the project with $18,000 for furnsihings and technology.
