Christmastime’s upon us, and as lighted trees appear
The meaning’s getting lost to us, and won’t be found I fear
The money spent on presents, and on gifts it seems defines
What kind of Christmas people have, and hold inside their minds
Let’s stop and read or watch the tale, which Charles Dickens told
When he wrote “A Christmas Carol”, for folks in days of old
I always think of Tiny Tim, who hoped that he’d remind
The people that a man once came, to heal the lame and blind
To all of you from me and mine, when all is said and done
Our Christmas wish is just like Tim’s; “God bless us everyone.”
