WHICHEVER WORDS I CHOOSE TO WRITE
I always hope that those words might
Inspire a mind or two to feel their verve
I try to fill my reader’s cup
With varied topics all mixed up
They seem to like it when I throw the curve
I’ve never had a writing coach
And I use rhyme in my approach
It seems to serve my purpose rather well
I see it in my mind and then
I let it flow right through my pen
I’ve got a thousand stories left to tell
To some it seems a waste of time
To me it’s my new paradigm
I justify the means by how they end
One thing’s for sure so please take note
Of all the poems I ever wrote
This ode is but another one my friend
