Benicia High School’s Grad Night Board and Committee will be holding its first ever pasta feed, fundraiser and silent auction tomorrow night at the Clocktower. The proceeds will benefit Grad Night, an evening of safe, sober fun for new Benicia High and Liberty High School graduates on the grounds of the BHS campus, featuring games, crafts, karaoke and a whole lot more.
Funds are needed to bring these activities in, so the Grad Night Committee puts on several fundraisers throughout the year, often at local restaurants. The silent auction at the Clocktower will not only help benefit Grad Night, but it also will give attendees the chance to come home with some really cool prizes. How cool? Among the items to be bid on are:
* A $1,700 package for a weeklong stay at the Tahoe Seasons Resort from July 28 through Aug. 4.
* A $500 family fun pack for a trip to Pier 39 in San Francisco, including four tickets for a cruise aboard the Blue and Gold Fleet, the San Francisco Bay RocketBoat, 7D Experience and the San Francisco Carousel.
* A wine tasting for up to 20 people at Total Wine & More in Pleasant Hill.
* A wine tasting at Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards in Sonoma.
* A family four pack to the Sacramento Zoo.
* A family four pack to the Oakland Zoo.
* A family four pack to the Walt Disney Family Museum in the Presidio of San Francisco.
* A family four pack to the California Academy of Sciences.
* 10 tickets to any Vallejo Admirals home game.
* A gift basket from the A&W in St. Helena.
In addition to the auction, there will also be a dinner of salad, garlic bread and pasta with sauce and meatballs; a dessert auction, balloon animals for the kids and a 50/50 raffle.
The Pasta Feed will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, May 18 at the Clocktower, located at 1189 Washington St. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $15 for seniors ages 55 and older and $10 for children 10 and under. All ages are welcome. For tickets or more information, call 853-4633, email BNGdonations@gmail.com or visit gradnightuaction.webs.com.
