The St. Patrick-St. Vincent High varsity baseball team scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning and held on to beat host De Anza on Wednesday, 9-7.
James Terrell provided the big blow with a two-run homer in the seventh. Wesley Galloway had a double and triple for the Bruins, while Triston Foley and Matt Sherman each added a double.
Foley picked up the win after pitching a scoreless seventh inning.
It was only the fourth loss of the season for Hercules (15-4). SPSV improved to 7-9 on the season.
