They say familiarity breeds contempt.
Whether you subscribe to this philosophy,
or not, please allow me to vent.
To be different is to be blessed.
What if we were all the same?
Can you imagine the bigger mess?
Imagine much more madness,
than we currently have now.
It would manifest exponentially.
I mean wow!!
I bet you couldn’t stay here.
No matter the price.
And would you really want too?
Even to save your own life.
The simple differences
that we fight about.
Those apparent idiosyncs.
All these things would pale.
And we would begin to think.
Think about how precious life is
and what past truths we might revamp.
What Dr. King was basically trying to say is
“Were all in the same Camp”.
A camp that can fold up anytime
reminding us of our Mortality;
the obvious and the sublime.
Because out of sight is not always out of mind!
Is what I’m trying to VENT.
I hope I got you thinking.
While preparing to someday
take down your Tent

Dedicated To Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.- January 15, 1929-April 4, 1968
