Benicia High’s varsity volleyball team made quick work of visiting Vallejo on Tuesday, winning 25-6, 25-8, 25-16.
Jessica Blakeman had 11 kills, four digs and an ace for the Lady Panthers, who ran their record to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the Solano County Athletic Conference. Sophomore Amanda Ajari, filling in for regular setter Karah Fisher, had 25 assists and three aces.
Other standouts for Benicia included Emily Maher (eight kills), Ramona Glatzel (six aces, four digs), Natalie Sluga (five aces, five assists) and Taylor Lewis (three aces). Benicia had 20 aces on the night.
The Lady Panthers play at Fairfield (0-2 SCAC) on Thursday.
