FRED NEJAD, OF AVANTI PHOTOGRAPHY, has announced he will be teaching photography classes and workshops in two location: his own Avanti Photography Studio, 932 Grant St., and at Once Upon a Canvas Studio and Gallery, at the Tannery Building, 129-J First St.
Nejad is a professional Northern California photographer who has specialized in weddings, boudoir, glamour, portraits, advertising, modeling portfolio and fine art photography.

Vallejo seeks senior landscape inspector
The city of Vallejo has announced it is seeking a senior landscape inspector.
This would be a full-time job paying from $5,317.12 to $6,462.99 a month.
Other full-time openings are available for landscape inspector, treatment plant operator, entry level and lateral police officers, communications operator I and II, and fire chief.
