Resident launches fundraiser for local ice pop business
Kimberli Haris has launched a “GoFundMe” Internet money raising campaign to underwrite supplying stores with her Fairyella ice pops.
“I will be using the money to buy personal logo ice pop bags, get certified for organic, (and for) kitchen time and produce,” Haris said. “I currently sell at Farmers Markets and am in a local store.”
The organic ice pops are gluten free, dairy free and soy free and are made with organic, local and sustainable produce, she said.
Haris named the ice pops for Fairyella, the tooth fairy that is the lead character in her late mother’s book, published by Haris.
She has established a website, www.fairyellaicepops.com.
